On December 22, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in the plenary session, considered the issue of recommending four judges for appointment.
The suitability of a judge appointed for a five-year term prior to the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Introducing Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (Regarding Justice)” must be assessed in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Two judges passed the qualification assessment and were recognised by the Commission as suitable for the positions held. Taking into account the results of the qualification assessment, the Commission decided to recommend:
• Yevhenii Romanovskyi for appointment to the position of judge of the Rubizhanskyi Town Court of Luhansk Oblast;
• Andrii Didyk for appointment to the position of judge of the Zarichnenskyi Raion Court of Rivne Oblast.
In connection with the confirmation of their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, two judges are considered to have confirmed their suitability for the position held. The Commission decided to recommend:
• Kateryna Kotelva for appointment to the position of judge of the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv City;
• Ihor Maksymiv for appointment to the position of judge of the Rozhniativskyі Raion Court of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
